Lesa brings a unique blend of business leadership, community commitment, and marketing expertise to her work as a real estate professional. Known for her remarkable achievements in branding and digital marketing, she uses these skills to help sellers effectively showcase their properties and achieve outstanding results. After leaving her corporate accounting role with Kroger, Inc. in 2000, Lesa founded several successful Louisville-based companies, including Mightily, one of the region’s premier brand advertising agencies. Under her leadership, Mightily has delivered services for globally recognized clients, such as Old Forester, Zappos, and American Printing House for the Blind, as well as prominent national and regional brands like Frost Brown Todd, Country Boy Brewing, Kentucky Performing Arts, Dare to Care, Nazareth Home, and Metro United Way.
Lesa’s professional success has been widely recognized. She has been recognized as the 2020 Business FirstEnterprising Woman of the Year and the 2020 GLI Inc.credible Small Business Leader of the Year. Her influence extends beyond the local level, with nominations for the 2018 EY Entrepreneur of the Year and recognition among Louisville’s Top 100 Influencers. Her thought leadership in digital marketing and web accessibility has been published in Forbes, where she wrote an article “Understanding the Importance of Web Accessibility” and contributed to the insightful article “14 Important Steps to Take When Rebranding Your Business.” Her work has shaped the regional advertising landscape and earned her a respected position in Forbes Business Council and the Business Journals Leadership Trust.
Dedicated to giving back, Lesa serves actively on numerous boards. She has held a seat on the Louisville Regional Airport Authority Board since 2013 and currently chairs the Finances, Facilities, and Operations Committee. In 2020, Governor Beshear appointed her to the Kentucky Commission on Small Business Innovation and Advocacy, where she now serves as Chair. On a national level, Lesa’s influence continues as a board member and National Secretary of the National Association of Women Business Owners, where she also chairs the Governance and Events Committees. Additionally, she represents the Louisville Regional Airport Authority alongside airports from across North America on the Airports Council International – North America Board of Directors, where she also serves on the U.S. Policy Council and chairs the North American Airport Commissioners Committee. She is a University of Louisville alumnae and also serves on the GLI Board of Directors and the Jeffersontown Chamber Marketing Committee.
Living in Owl Creek with her husband Gregg, Lesa is proud of her Kentucky roots, having grown up in her parent’s business, McDavitt Electric & Gifts, in Taylorsville, where her first job was as an admin for The Real Estate Company. Over the past 25 years, she has expanded her roots to Louisville and is deeply invested in her community. She enjoys singing, traveling, exploring Louisville’s vibrant culinary scene, and cherishing time with her family, including her two adult children and her beloved granddaughter, Ella.
